Jo Handbags

Created by three friends, Dee, Delia and Wendi, Jo reflects a classic and off-beat style. Dee's an interior designer who loves to design furniture in her spare time. One creative, sleepless night, she started designing bags and hasn't stopped since. Her sensibility of cool, tough girl from the Bronx with a love of classic style is reflected in the bags. Delia, a veteran ad exec and Wendi, a fashion designer, recognized Dee's unique take on handbags and in 2010 the three partnered to create Jo.

Jo combines a raw look with a no-nonsense style to offer handbags and accessories that are sturdy, versatile and unapologetically unpolished. Jo's unique designs artfully blend boot leather, woven vinyl, burlap, waxed canvas, copper, silver and brass in classic shapes. Made locally by hand in NYC, details like raw cut leather, hammered wire and external stitching are finishing touches that reinforce the commitment to craftsmanship
and quality.
