Donni Charm Scarves

When Alyssa Wasko's father was taken from her as the result of an accident, she used a creative outlet to help her heal. As she returned to college that fall, Alyssa gave her dear friend Dana one of the first scarves they created. Through her support, friends and family, the scarves thrived in sorority trunk shows and philanthropic endeavors, and she watched their scarves take on a whole new meaning.

Naming their project was the easiest yet most heartfelt step of the process; those close to my father affectionately called him “Donny,” and as her mother later pointed out, she was his charm… thus, “donni charm” was created. The scarves are wrapped around her like the arms of his hug, and hang close to Alyssa's heart where her father will always remain.

Her designs have been featured in Lucky Magazine, US Weekly, People Magazine, and Ok! Magazine (just to name a few). Her designs have been found being worn by Rihanna, Naomi Watts, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Biel, and Lisa Rinna.
