Born and raised in Southern California, designer Christina Oh fell in love with haute couture through the pages of Vogue at a very young age. She was mesmerized with both the fashion trailblazing of Armani, Prada and Gucci during the 90’s and the marketing genius that made the brands larger than life. Christina was an avid student of business and fashion and initially focused her attention to the former, attaining business degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and her MBA at Northwestern University. Christina spent a year at a prestigious boutique strategy consulting firm and then spent 6 years managing the design and development of handbags, totes, and leather goods for large branded companies seeking outsourced design and production. With much success and confidence from designing for other brands, Christina decided to launch her own label, BOULEVARD, in 2006. Christina aims to fuse high end textiles, leather and hardware with the supremely wearable southern California lifestyle. She designs for the intelligent and individual minded woman who demands perfection and knows her style. Her bags have thoughtful structural designs and exude an effortless elegance. Now in her fourth season, Christina finds herself evolving as a designer with every collection, discovering and mixing newer textiles and leathers and applying production techniques to yield pieces that are at once chic, easy and sumptuous in every last detail.
